News 2007

The main highlights were Tigger's coming of competition age on July 26th and his subsequent trophies and rosettes! Sweep had a couple of very good runs which resulted in a few very close calls (we want to remain Grade 5 and luckily he did!!). Sweep also won a Grade 1 - 7 Helter Skelter Class beating some very good Grade 6 and 7 dogs!! Inca has been superbly consistent all year for Jess and seems to have gone up a gear. He even managed to win a trophy in a Grade 1-3 Agility class - his first ever KC trophy!!! Bella completely suprised me by gaining several very good Clear rounds - Yes CLEAR ROUNDS!!!!!!!!!! These resulted in top 10 places in Grade 3!!!

The worst part of the year has to have been when Bella went severly lame up the orchard. The silly moo was chasing a rabbit and this resulted in a strained cruciate ligament and as a consequence she missed all of the summer season. Thankfully she is sound again and I pray that in 2008 the problem does not resurface because unbelievably she is really enjoying her agility now!
